The “Héritages” range

“Chêne Marchand is a historic “lieu-dit” which offers all the aromatic concentration and complexity yielded by our Caillottes soils”

VINEYARD LOCATION: In the “Chêne Marchand” single vineyard, in Bué.

SOILS: Selection from specific plots of vines grown on particularly stony “Caillottes” soils.

GRAPE VARIETY: Sauvignon blanc.

VINIFICATION: Fermentation temperatures are carefully controlled to obtain a fruit-driven wine. Three types of vessels are used for maturation: stainless steel vats, amphorae and concrete “eggs”, in order to best express the identity of the terroir. The wine is aged on fine lees for around a year to gain texture and complexity before final blending.

TASTING NOTES*:

Appearance:  Lemon-yellow hue.

Nose: Concentrated aromas of stone fruits, with hints of the exotic.

Palate: A great combination of flavour concentration balanced by impressive body.

FOOD PAIRING SUGGESTIONS: Pairs wonderfully with white meats accompanied, for example, by a light lemon cream sauce.

RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 10°C to 12°C
